Autorenporträt
The Fisherman and the Greedy Man is a folklore that tells the story of a fisherman and his wife who put their trust in a deceptive person and are betrayed. The betrayer allowed his heart to mislead him into a wrong course of action. For a while, he relishes in his ill-gotten gain. But it is short-lived. Marilyn has been a lover of fairy tales, fables, and children stories since she was a young child. When her mother read to her in the late evenings, all the characters would come to life in her imagination. Some years later, an associate encouraged her to put to pen the magic of storytelling. The story of The Fisherman and the Greedy Man is Marilyn's third book, which is a folklore. The story goes much deeper than the words. In 2014 Marilyn's first book, Beauteous Black and the Mysterious Forest, was produced as a play in Takilma, Oregon. Marilyn likes to garden, travel, and of course, read fairy tales to her grandchildren. She resides in Southern California.
