J. L. Greger is a biology professor and research administrator from the University of Wisconsin-Madison turned novelist. She likes to include tidbits of science and foreign locations in her thriller/mystery novels: Murder: A Way to Lose (1st prize in 2016 Public Safety Writers [PSWA] book contest and finalist for a 2016 NM/Arizona book award), Malignancy (1st prize in 2015 PSWA book contest), Riddled with Clues (finalist for a 2017 NM/Arizona book award), She Didn't Know Her Place, and others.
