Autorenporträt

Margaretha Espersson Javits was born in Stockholm, Sweden. After graduating from Teachers College in Stockholm she left for the United States where she earned her Doctorate in Psychology and Higher Education at Columbia University in New York. She served as an Assistant Dean in its School of General Studies for several years before leaving academia to join a leading advertising agency in NYC. She accompanied her US Ambassador husband to Europe for eight years before returning to the US where they now reside in Palm Beach, Florida.
