Inspiring young inventors everywhere!
Author LEANNE JONES is a private investigator living in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. During a recent summer vacation to the beautiful country of Croatia, she was inspired by the many famous inventors who came from that small country. A story idea began to form.
As a schoolteacher prior to being a P.I., Leanne noticed children could be encouraged toward one of the highest forms of intellectual expression which is invention. She also observed that while children find friends through play, playfulness also strengthens creativity.
Europe was on the forefront of the search for clean energy solutions and once back in Canada, Leanne became aware that local innovations were rapidly moving in the same direction. BC-based Harbour Air had just become the first airline in the world to successfully test a commercial all-electric float plane. This contributed to her idea for this story about a battery that could never die. If fantasy could become fact, it would make electric vehicles safer and more efficient. This book aims to inspire young inventors everywhere.

The illustration of dream-like visions illuminating the mind of a young inventor was drawn with magic realism by Victoria-based Anna Mah.
