Our lives are out of balance: we have forgotten the non-dual, the Eternal. Basically, we have become spiritual seekers because something about our lives feels "off". But we often fail to see to what extent our "personal problems" are also a symptom of a more general, societal dysfunction. In this book, I try to explain why we, as society and as humanity, have become so lamentably one-sided and disconnected. I also describe in some detail how we can reverse this self-alienation, which is the main reason for our current "polycrisis". Paradoxically, we can only express our individuality fully and creatively when we are also aware of our true, spiritual Nature. Indeed we can only allow and encourage others to flourish as individuals when we see everybody as a unique expression of the One Self. This book is about the integration of the relative, the limited (form, mind) and the Absolute, the Unlimited (Life, Being). However, it is only with non-dual awakening that this integration process can really pick up momentum. Autorenporträt

Stefan Ahmann wurde 1969 bei Münster in Westfalen geboren, wo er Anglistik, Russistik, Pädagogik und Philosophie studierte. Eine Zeit lang war er Mitglied einer Münsteraner Künstlergruppe und er hat die Malerei und Graphik nie ganz aufgegeben. Neben seinem Beruf (Englischlehrer) sind Non-duality sowie englische, russische und deutsche Literatur seine wesentlichen Interessen. Sein erstes Buch, "Eine Neue Aufklärung", ist aus einem persönlichen Bedürfnis heraus entstanden, insofern er trotz der großen Fülle an spiritueller Ratgeberliteratur einen wirklich ganzheitlichen Ansatz vermisste, der den heute vorherrschenden Materialismus eindeutig widerlegt und ein umfassendes "spirituelles" Weltbild entwirft. Vergeblich suchte er ein Buch, das alle existentiell wichtigen Themen miteinander verbindet und das auf die großen philosophischen und lebenspraktischen Fragen wirkliche, zeitgemäße Antworten gibt. Diese Lücke galt es zu schließen - umso mehr, als er selbst aufgrund einer Schädigung durch Fluorchinolone erfahren hatte, wie wichtig Autonomie und Informiertheit sind, wenn es etwa um Gesundheit geht. Es gibt zahlreiche für die Lebensgestaltung relevante Perspektiven und in "Eine Neue Aufklärung" spielen viele davon eine Rolle: die spirituelle, die praktische, die wissenschaftliche, die philosophische usw. Diese Multiperspektivität ist das Besondere an "Eine Neue Aufklärung". Das folgende Buch, "Das Mysterium der Einheit in der Vielheit", folgt zwar demselben Grundprinzip, insofern die Thematik aus mehreren, sich ergänzenden Perspektiven dargestellt wird, ist aber ausschließlich auf philosophische und spirituelle Fragestellungen fokussiert. "Das Mysterium der Einheit in der Vielheit" vertieft eine Idee aus "Eine Neue Aufklärung", nämlich, dass die unterschiedlichen "westlichen" und "östlichen" religiösen, philosophischen und spirituellen Ansätze sich ergänzen. Sie sind zwei Seiten der Einen Wahrheit.
