My 4th grade teacher gave an assignment to write 500 words about any subject and it was due in a week. I misread the instructions and wrote 5000 words. The first thing my mom asked after she read it was who did you copy from? I guess she doesn't have a lot of faith in public education. I just like to write. It's the first story I've ever published. I don't know if it's any good.

The short story is about a young person living in a modern day war zone who's trying to find a treasure to help their parents. They thought it would be easy to find, but burning gems, collapsing floors and escalators, a dragon, ghosts, tanks. and many other problems make it very hard. Maybe impossible?

I made a few pics for the story but they were very difficult for me to do. So, it's mostly just words.

Mainly, I relied on the resources I've learned from during my 10 years to write it. TV, video games, social media, ebooks, and public education. I hope you like it.
