Kein Geheimnis

Ein "Roman über die Prinzipien erfolgreicher Führung" könnte originell sein. Aber der Untertitel verspricht leider mehr, als das Buch dann hält. Mit den Figuren des Romans mag man sich kaum 140 Seiten lang beschäftigen. Die Handlung besteht überwiegend aus langweiligen Dialogen von langweiligen Menschen in langweiligen Besprechungen: "Der Rest des Tages verlief ganz ähnlich wie der vorangegangene", heißt es passend zur Lektüre an einer Stelle. Der Leser lernt nicht ganz nebenbei etwas über erfolgreiche Unternehmensführung, sondern liest eine der üblichen Management-Fibeln. Im zweiten Teil dieses "Romans" wird das Modell der "organisatorischen Gesundheit" in Ratgeber-Manier zusammengefaßt. Der Leser erfährt, daß es gut ist, sich Ziele zu setzen, und auch, daß die Definition dieser Ziele wichtig ist. Das alles ist weder zielführend noch neu. Der bemüht heitere Stil des Buches ist ermüdend, die Gemeinplätze werden durch zahlreiche Adjektive nicht spannender. "Die entwaffnende Einfachheit und enorme Bedeutung einer gesunden Unternehmenskultur", für die der amerikanische Autor in dem Vorwort wirbt, kann und sollte man anderswo lernen.
