Martyn Cole doesn't like Simon Deschamps, his late Uncle Jack's business partner. Simon comes across as cold and unfriendly and he treats Martyn like a loser. But the terms of his Uncle's Will dictate that, to inherit his half of the business, Martyn must work there with Simon. Should Martyn refuse to do so, Jack's share will be sold and the proceeds distributed amongst various charities. Martyn's employment history has not been the best and he wants to inherit. But if that's to happen either he must find a way to suppress the attraction he feels for Simon or deal with it head on.
After deciding on the direct approach, he calls Simon, says they need to talk, and suggests they have dinner together. The restaurant Martyn had in mind is closed, and Simon takes him to a nearby club. Martyn isn't sure what to expect, but just as he gives up hope of the evening developing beyond dinner and a few drinks, things take an interesting turn as the lights dim, the music is turned up, and Simon invites Martyn to dance.
