It has been observed in writing biographies and biographies that searching for the conditions of famous personalities tempts the reader - and the writer together - to search for their "personal" conditions, and the researcher longs for their private aspects that correspond to their high aspects, or the aspects for which their public works are famous. We notice, in the past and in the present, that the biography of Muhammad Abduh was one of the biography in which there was a small exception to this rule. We become more satisfied with his general news - rather than his private news - as we expand our knowledge of him and the motives for his deeds. It is as if we feel, after expanding knowledge of his personality, that it is "personal" and impersonal, or that his private deeds are his public deeds with no barrier of secret or publicity separating them.
