Gail loves to read books, bake cookies, and, of course, write children's books. She fell in love with books when she visited her first library as a child. In high school she was one of the librarian aides, and she knew then that she wanted to be part of that world. By working at a school library in her hometown for over twenty-one years, Gail has devoted her life to putting books into the hands of young readers.
