It was a quest nobody sent her on but one she must fulfil. The sands led her to the beast. All she could see was a pup, a beautiful little creature with a hide a hue of green. She picked it up and began her journey back home.

He had been resting in the desert for years, ever since he had been born of the sands. Suddenly a pair of hands picked him up and nestled him in a pouch against her chest. He would have protested if the sands had not hummed around the girl. He knew their destiny even if she was unaware.
