Autorenporträt

Lumi Winterson has schizophrenia, and has been in and out of hospitals most of her adult life. She is a survivor of child sexual abuse. Finally well enough to share her story, she hopes that it will reach other people with similar problems and to those interested in the area, such as carers and health professionals. She wants to break down some of the stigma related to mental illness. The story is not uncommon, but she is unique and has survived. You can too.
