Autorenporträt
Carol McAllister was born in Helensburgh, Argyllshire, and grew up in the seventies, part of a musical family. A self-taught guitarist, she joined her father's band as a teenager and continued to work as a musician for the next fifteen years. Carol developed a love of food, travelling extensively through Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia, and kept a diary which sparked her love of writing, which remains with her to this day. She is now happily settled in Dalbeattie, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland.
