Autorenporträt
Mrs. Beckley grew up in suburban Philadelphia until she and her family were transferred to the Metro Detroit area in 1976. She is the mother of two girls, Jean and Kate, and the grandmother to five grandchildren. In her spare time, she likes to read, bake, swim, write, teach music lessons, and play her cello in a concert band in the area. Mrs. Beckley has taught elementary school both in Pennsylvania and Michigan for over thirty years.
