This is a hadith that I want to be sincere to the truth as long as it is possible for me to be sincere to the truth alone, and to seek the truth in it as much as I can to find the truth, and to hold myself in it to be fair, not to deviate from it, nor to dictate to one party of the Muslims over another, nor to side with a group of those who have disputed over it. Othman's case without a team; I am not an Ottoman by heart, nor am I a Shiite of Ali, and I do not think about this issue as those who lived with Uthman and bore its burden with him and went mad with him or after him were thinking about its consequences. I know that people are still divided over this issue to this day, just as they were divided over it in the days of Othman, may God have mercy on him. Among them is the Uthmani, who does not equate with Uthman any of the Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, after the two sheikhs, and among them is the Shiite, who does not equate anyone with Ali, may God have mercy on him, after the Prophet. He does not exclude the two sheikhs, and hardly hopes for their place in dignity. And among them are those who hesitate between this and that, taking some care in their Uthmanism or taking something in their conversion to Ali's Shiism, so they know the position of all the companions of the Prophet, and know the status of all the companions of the Prophet among them, and then after that he does not prefer any one of them over the other.
