Who was the Greatest Prophet? Can we prove it? What do the scriptures reveal?

Most people are aware of Jesus Christ as our Savior. Few understand Him as the Greatest Prophet. Throughout history, some have claimed to be prophets sent by God. We need to consider this topic with all seriousness and reverence. We need to search the scriptures to understand the Will of God. Israel of old was warned by God not to accept just any prophet, as they may be false prophets. Jesus also personally warned His followers about following false prophets at his first advent. They will appear godly and religious, yet mislead unsuspecting people and cause harm, even ruining lives. We need to do some homework to prove the Greatest Prophet.

The many chapters deal with the following topics:

  1. Provides a clear definition of a prophet, and introduces Jesus as a prophet, and if there will be further prophets.
  2. Looks at prophecies that Jesus made, and were fulfilled later in His life, as well as afterward.
  3. Considers the qualifications and status of Jesus.
  4. Looks at the many prophecies about Jesus in the Old Testament section of the Bible.
  5. Did Jesus change everything? Was he correct in apparently doing away with everything in the Old Testament section, and doesn't it disqualify Him as a prophet?
  6. The Old Testament shows that the changes made by Jesus were prophesied by prior prophets.
  7. What about other apparent prophets that came after Jesus? Can they be trusted? This chapter deals with this serious question.
  8. Jesus did prophesy specifically of legitimate prophets that will come after Him. This chapter shows that He concurs with what was already said in the Old Testament.
  9. Chapter 9 deals with the Two Witnesses of the Last Days. How can we identify the? We must be sure!
  10. This last chapter looks into Revelation and what we can see about the Last Days just before the return of Jesus Christ.

Once this eBook has been studied, the reader will have a great appreciation of Jesus as a Prophet, and will be armed with the knowledge which will help to avoid following other false prophets.

Autorenporträt
Pieter C Voges grew up in Pretoria, South Africa, and graduated from Langenhoven High School. After studying at Pretoria Technicon and Pretoria University, a career at IBM followed. Attending various Christian churches allowed a growing understanding of the original Gospel message and a quest for complete Biblical understanding. This led to my appointment as a Pastor and Evangelist. A desire to share insight into the First Century Theology led to several books being written and recently converted to eBooks. More is in production.
