Youth is a time of immense transition, but it is also a time of great perplexity. Society provides little solace, and you may feel as if you are alone in a wilderness or on a battlefield. You may believe that no one loves you, that you can't trust anyone, or that there is no reason for you to live. But don't pass judgment on yourself. You must never lose faith in yourself. It is believed that there is nobody on this planet who doesn't have a mission. If you didn't have a purpose in life, you wouldn't have been born. It does not rain or snow throughout the year. Remember that the light always shines through the clouds. Charlie Chaplin, one of the world's most famous comedians, was born four days before Adolf Hitler. Chaplin was poor in his youth, hence, couldn't afford to go to school. His mother, too, was afflicted with mental illness. Notwithstanding of his challenges, he kept an uplifting outlook. Unlike Hitler, who went on to kill millions of people and blanket the globe in blood and sadness, Chaplin gave people around the world hope. The final chapter of Chaplin's life ended triumphantly, with the audience applauding and cheering him on. The way life ends, not the way it begins is what defines it. In youth, there are no irreversible mistakes.
A master once told one of his disciples that was going through some hardships. "You must go through challenges in life," he advised him. You can only understand this religion if you struggle. This is how you grow into a terrific person." Adversity, as the saying goes, is the best teacher. The more persecutions and attacks a person face and survive, the stronger and more powerful he or she will become. My personal commitment is to always be with and for the people. Every day is an opportunity for personal growth and development, and I am certain that these efforts lead to the growth and development of everything else. I am unafraid of being insulted or criticized. When shady characters appear, I am not afraid. When you try to become someone who can confront any situation without fear. You end up with an indestructible self.
There will be periods in life and in the many tasks we face when we advance and times when we regress. There will be times when you basically need to rest. Life is loaded with good and bad times. It's regular to go through a ton of changes while you work for your objectives. Wisdom is essential. It is critical to have knowledge. We need intelligence to understand our relationships with people and with society correctly. Please cultivate sound judgment. That is why cultivating the ability to study and learn is so important. There is one piece of advice that will never change in the middle of such constant change: "regardless of the matter, the times or what other people say, don't let your essential views of things be changed." It's critical to have a firm and unwavering conviction like Mountains around us. I want every one of you to grow into a self that is as strong as a majestic mountain, with tenacity, courage, and ability.
