In addition to his seminal work, 'The History of the Byzantine Empire,' Oman's erudition encompassed a variety of subjects, producing esteemed volumes such as 'A History of the Art of War in the Middle Ages' and 'The Dark Ages, 476-918,' which are highly regarded for their detailed research and analysis. His narrative style, characterized by lucidity and an engaging prose, rendered his historical accounts both scholarly and accessible to a broad readership. His authoritative voice in historical interpretation cemented his status as a leading historian of his era.
