Autorenporträt
Larry R. Squire ist Professor für Psychiatrie, Neurowissenschaften und Psychologie an der University of California School of Medicine in San Diego und Forschungsmitglied am Veterans Affairs Medical Center in San Diego. Er war Präsident der amerikanischen Society for Neuroscience und gehört der National Academy of Sciences an. Er hat das Buch Memory and Brain geschrieben und ist Mitherausgeber des Standardwerkes Fundamental Neuroscience. Zu seinen zahlreichen Auszeichnungen zählen der Distinguished Scientific Contribution Award der American Psychological Association und der Karl Lashley Prize der American Philosophical Society
