Douglas Baker ist im englischsprachigen Raum wohl bekannt. Der Dichter, Schriftsteller und Wissenschaftler ist eine der herausragendsten Personlichkeiten im Bereich der esoterischen Wissenschaften. Seit er 1964 an der Sheffield-Universität den Doktor der Medizin machte, hat er die Aufmerksamkeit des Publikums auf diejenigen Aspekte der Heilkunst gelenkt, die sich im Grenzbereich des wissenschaftlichen Denkens befmden.
