Christian answered a "help wanted" ad on the Internet and got more than a job. According to her business card, his new boss is a consultant. When Christian asked her what kind of consultant she is, she answered: "...I prefer not to label myself. People tell me their dreams; if I like them and believe in them, I encourage them to pursue their dream and introduce them to others who can assist. When they succeed, I get ten percent."

The Image of Christian is a fable about fame, celebrity, and other illusions set in 1995, the year I started the first edition. The second edition, published in 2025, is similar. I cleaned up some details that had bothered me and did a proofread that caught a few errors I had missed before. That's it. Updating the novel to set it in 2025 would have made it a different book.
