As soon as the respective live sporting event has taken place and has been broadcast live, the interest in this event drops rapidly. This book deals with the analysis of digital technologies and streaming technology on sports broadcasting. The focus is on the German sports broadcasting industry. The main objective is to identify and analyse the different parameters that have changed due to the disruptive innovation of streaming and other technological innovations.

About the author: Martin Hagelgans earned his Master's degree in International Marketing & Media Management at the Hochschule für Medien, Kommunikation und Wirtschaft (HMKW) in Frankfurt am Main. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Management, Philosophy & Economics at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
