Sandra Brée is an historian and a demographer of the Centre national de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) at the Laboratoire de Recherche Historique Rhône-Alpes (LARHRA) in Lyon, France. Saskia Hin is a historical demographer affiliated with the KU Leuven Family and Population Studies Group.
