Autorenporträt
Louise Welsh is the author of four novels: The Cutting Room, Tamburlaine Must Die, The Bullet Trick and Naming the Bones (all published by Canongate Books). Louise has written many short stories and produced features for most of the major British broadsheets. The Importance of Being Alfred was shortlisted for a Critics' Award for Best New Play, 2006. Her other plays include Panic Patterns (Citizens Theatre, 2010) and Memory Cells (The Arches, 2009). Louise has been the recipient of several awards and international fellowships. Her work has been translated into twenty languages. She lives in Glasgow with the author Zoë Strachan.
