Autorenporträt

Mernie got started in Victoria, British Columbia, received her higher education in Las Vegas, Nevada and was a freelance artist in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 40 years. She painted everything from portraits to stage sets, owned an art gallery and taught many beginning painters to unleash their inner masterpieces. She won a some humorous speaking competitions and the love of good dogs. Mernie currently lives in Woodstock, New York where she writes, paints and refuses to recover from a fiction addiction.
