Capt. John Kumiski is a retired fly and light tackle fishing guide, as well as an award winning free-lance writer, photographer, and author. His writing specializes in fly and light tackle saltwater and freshwater fishing, paddle sports, and camping. He's been a columnist for Saltwater Fly Fishing, an editor at Coastal Angler Magazine, and has been published in Fly Fisherman, Salt Water Sportsman, Shallow Water Angler, American Angler, Fly Tyer, and many more. His books include Redfish on the Fly, Flyrodding Florida Salt, Fishing Florida's Space Coast, and other similar titles.
