The rheology of inflammation and the effects of inflammation on the lymphatic system are also examined. Subsequent chapters focus on the natural role of amines, polypeptides, and proteases in the inflammatory process; mediation of increased vascular permeability in inflammation; and hemostatic mechanisms in tissue injury.
