Passionate about advocating for and exploring the relationship between social justice and environmentalism, she gained international acclaim in 2020 following her coining of the term 'intersectional environmentalist'. In 2022 Leah was chosen as a TIME 100 NEXT rising star, an INSIDER's Climate Action 30 leader and in 2024, she featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Energy.
