Brenda Hokenson grew up in the rolling hills of the Palouse in Eastern Washington. She was raised in a close-knit family. Love for adventure came from many family drives and camping trips growing up. She joined the military after high school, which led to more time sightseeing. After the military she went into federal service where she worked for 3 different agencies, retiring in 2014. Brenda met the love of her life, Chad, in 2008 who helped her through medical issues and with 3 children. They married in 2014. She enjoys writing, camping, hiking, family history, drawing, spending time with family, and has taken an interest in helping veterans like herself. Her happiest times are when the family is together to experience some of the adventures into the woods or visiting family.
