Despite never receiving any formal theological training, A.W. Tozer was incredibly influential, both as a minister and a theologian. The author of over forty books on Christian faith and spirituality, he was also editor of Alliance Life, the denominational publication of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, in whose churches he ministered and preached.
