Patty Hays is the author of the children's book The Kraken Kronikles. She earned her PhD in life raising two sons and smoothly maintaining a household for thirty years. She's a lover of books and her library card has always been well worn. She lives in the Pacific NW. In addition to writing and the way new books smell, she loves the ocean, painting and has a fondness for dessert making.
