Autorenporträt
Elia Youlesivanson was born in Iran, 1963, into an Assyrian family. He received his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering. From his childhood, he had a strong passion for reading novels and from that time, he started to write short stories in his notebook. In his young hood, he read two books which totally altered his point of view. The first one was the Blind Owl by Sadegh Hedayat and the other book was The Old Man and Sea of Ernest Hemmingway. When he immigrated to USA, he started to write screen plays for movies and he had more than ten scripts. However, one of the Hollywood producers who read his screen play encouraged him to turn them into novels. This is the first of them.
