And there is one guy, one stupid, moronic, guy, who has gone out of his way to see as many shows as possible, in as many places as possible. Which has not always gone well for him.

So follow the band, and more importantly their self proclaimed 'Number One Fan', as he pays a fortune for a taxi, misses numerous flights, gets stranded in the middle of nowhere, and receives a phone call in a former Gestapo prison that accidentally changes his life!

At times comic, at other times dark, this is a no holds barred recollection of some of the best rock shows that have ever taken place, all told against the backdrop of the personal struggles and tragedy of the writer.
