During his investigation Barton bumps into a woman and although a mature man it's love at rst sight. is woman turns out to be the mother of the said serial killer.

After leaving school I was sent to work in the coal industry. When that closed, I worked many jobs. I spent many years in the armed forces a er that I drove trucks. I spent some time working on ancient monuments. In all that time I carried a notebook, writing down my experiences and describing people and places. I would say I was a natural storyteller. I never thought my writing was good enough to get published so when I retired I thought, what the hell go for it.
