In this book The Layers of Holistic Healing, author Palesa Morabe speaks about the agony she felt when she struggled to accept failure and helplessness as well as the peace and strength that emerged from her when she allowed herself to accept the truth and surrender to defeat. That acceptance launched her into a journey of healing in which she worked through layers (embracing medical intervention, self-help, cultivating true health, a spiritual walk, relationships and connecting the dots of her life) to arrive at the core of wellbeing and unveiled her truest self. She forged a completely new way of life when she transitioned from using her mind to escape from unpleasant realities, to realising that ideas are divine visions through which one can draw a map of one's progress in life and cultivate a life filled with pleasure.

About the author:

Palesa Morabe was born in 1991 in the small town of Mafikeng. As her mother's only child, she learnt early in life that her imagination is not just a companion but a tool to escape to beautiful spaces without travelling. Throughout her schooling career, she was an outstanding pupil and realised that she is unafraid to put herself out there as attending seven different schools in her 12-year career didn't make her feel uncomfortable. Instead, she saw it as an adventure and was thankful for how the experiences exposed her to realities she could never have imagined. Although she didn't complete her degree in Mathematical Statistics due to ill-health, she is pleased to have been exposed to academic and social experiences that have enriched the capacity of her knowledge, which she is excited to apply in her storytelling and philanthropy.
