Autorenporträt

William D. West was born in Charleston, SC. He earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He received his PhD from Regent University's School of Business & Leadership in Organizational Leadership with a major in Ecclesial Leadership. Dr. West is ordained and endorsed through the Southern Baptist Convention.

Dr. West culminated his thirty-five-year military career with United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) serving as the Deputy Command Chaplain, USCENTCOM where he was responsible for the religious care for 2.5 million service men and women throughout the Middle East and in the two combat zones of Iraq and Afghanistan. Following his promotion to colonel, Dr. West served as the Command Chaplain, United States Special Operations Command Central providing religious support to all the Special Operations Forces throughout 27 countries, including Iraq and Afghanistan.

Dr. West works with the South Carolina Baptist Convention through the Band of Brothers training events teaching leadership to groups of pastors. He serves as an Adjunct Professor with Anderson University, Columbia International University, Southern Wesleyan University, and Regent University.
