The book uses historical data moving from Lincoln's birth through the present day with an exciting climax as Douglas discovers the reason for the deception and the attempts on his life. Meanwhile, his father is catapulted to the presidency in a landslide victory with a crisis of what to do with his son's information. Douglas also must choose between two beautiful women. Who does he love? Also, the book asks "Is there a time when "truth" may be best left buried and hidden?"
