A blue boll weevil named Azul is unhappy with his current situation. He has a feeling of despair until his friend Gordy the grasshopper stops by to say hello. Gordy notices Azul's despair and discovers a way to renew Azul's faith and find happiness. Gordy proves to Azul that to put faith in God, friendship, and prayer that the outcome may be beyond expectations.

Autor

David Kennedy (1959-2017) was born in Leicester and lived and wote in Sheffield for majority of his final years. He was Senior Lecturer in English & Creative Writing at the University of Hull. He published three collections of poetry with Salt, and a final collection with Shearsman, The Apple and the Mountain in 2015. He also published pamphlets with Rack and Oystercatcher. His critical writings included The Ekphrastic Encounter in Contemporary British Poetry and Elsewhere (Ashgate, 2012). He published widely on contemporary British and Irish poetry.
