Autorenporträt
June Rousso, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist, life coach, and writer from New York City who was inspired to write a children's book about character strengths from her studies of positive psychology through the Flourishing Center, Positive Acorn, and the VIA Institute on Character. She works with children and adults as a psychotherapist and coach in private practice and previously worked in clinical settings in the New York area. Dr. Rousso holds a master's degree in holistic nutrition and incorporates principles from nutrition into her private practice. Dr. Rousso is the author of We All Live On This Planet Together, a book on helping children cope with fears by looking to their character strengths and the beauty in the world. She has written articles on wellness for the Epoch Times and the elephant journal and has a personal blog at junerousso.com. Dr. Rousso spends her spare time practicing yoga, Qigong, and dance all toward the goal of living a balanced life.
