Volume 11 completes the Church Questions and Answers series of classes, which were given as part of the devotional services of the Serenity Spiritualist Church and delivered to the congregation. This volume has 33 classes. All teachings of the Living Light are designed to guide us as we move along the path of progression, the inward journey that we all will take to awaken to our own Divinity. Mr. Goodwin wrote in the introduction that the teacher of this philosophy "makes clear that his lessons are not dogma, a creed or a narrow way, but simply his own understanding offered to us as a form of instruction to aid us in our own individual progression. When he speaks of Laws, he does not refer to man-made rules or moral traditions but to the cosmic and atomic way-things-are, the natural world of what-is, the universal laws of life, part of the original creative design and through which creation is fulfilled. These laws are beyond the possibility of being changed, suspended, transcended or destroyed but they are ever the tool of mankind, not his master. First, through our awareness of the universal laws and then slowly through our developed understanding, the powers of creation are accessible to us. Not power of men's minds and circumstances, but power over whatever is selfish and imperfect in ourselves is the way up the eternal ladder of progression. . . Autorenporträt

Mr. Richard P. Goodwin was the founder of the Serenity Association and served as the medium through whom the Living Light Philosophy was given. He was born in South Portland, Maine, on February 22, 1927 and passed on to the higher life on February 24, 1989. Through his mediumship he gave spiritual awareness classes; many of which were recorded. The recorded classes, which constitute the Living Light Philosophy, have been transcribed and published in "The Living Light Dialogue." The teacher who expressed through Mr. Goodwin's mediumship made it clear that his lessons were not a dogma or a creed, but simply his own understanding to aid and guide us on our own journey of eternal progression. Mr. Goodwin was the living demonstration of the Living Light Philosophy.
