He sets out upon a long path which takes him to all the known lands and beyond, and along the way he makes companions and enemies, and faces friendship and betrayal, the angelic and the demonic. In the end, only Brother Jerome holds the key to a new world, one beyond the terrors of any mortal king. But first Jerome must come to understand not only himself, but his place within the world and his place within God's plans for him. Only then can a true savior be discovered.
