Autorenporträt

Carmen P. Fabian, a former retired assistant superintendent of schools for West Lafayette Community School Corporation, was born in Italy on September 13, 1914. He came to the United States at the age of thirteen without being able to speak a word of English. But he learned quickly and graduated from Washington High School in East Chicago, Indiana, and was elected to the National Honor Society. In 1936, he began his further studies at Indiana University and graduated in 1939. He was elected to Phi Delta Kappa, honorary in education. In 1940, he married Frances E. Robertson, and together, they reared three fine sons. Mr. Fabian passed away on December 17, 1998.
