This book is a future history in the form of interviews with people who lived through, were involved in, or were born shortly after much of the world underwent a fundamental socioeconomic paradigm shift that changed the world for the better yet created monumental challenges along the way. It accompanies my earlier nonfiction works. This is necessary because the new paradigm is something far enough outside most people's experience that even when they understand the first two books and agree with their conclusions, they may find it hard to conceptualize and imagine what the transition and the new paradigm might be like. This novel is meant to give them a vicarious experience of what it will likely be like from the points of view of a diverse range of personalities and backgrounds.
