The Lord's Prayer was taught by a Jewish man, Jesus, who never left Judaism. Jesus was born a Jew and died a Jew, and he knew nothing of 'Christianity', nor did he conceive of it or imitate it. Jesus, indeed, spoke and taught precepts, ideas and thoughts that were completely in sync with the teachings of Judaism, but his teaching were not in sync with the teachings of today's Christianity. The purpose of this book is to help us understand how the Christian Church has separated itself from Jesus' teachings, and I can demonstrate that in the four verses that make up the Lord's Prayer. That separation from Jesus' teachings makes the Church an apostate Church. Yes, that may sound shocking, but keep reading and I will prove it. Scriptures bear witness to the Church's apostasy - and it can be demonstrated clearly from Jesus' own words, even within the four verses that make up 'The Lord's Prayer'. The Lord's prayer reveals some truths that the average Christian doesn't know because those things are not taught by the Church, for obvious reasons. If Jesus' words, as I claim, are not compatible with the doctrines of Christianity, then we all will be forced to choose between: following Jesus' words or following the doctrines (i.e., the teachings) of Christian Church. We all need to ask ourselves, should I trust my salvation to Jesus' words or to the doctrines of Christian Church? The answer to that decision will affect our salvation. As for me, I will follow Jesus' words even if I have to reject the teachings and the doctrines of the Christian Church. The earliest 'Christian' Church was known as 'the Way', it followed Jesus' teachings. But since that time the Church has mutated and became apostate. And because the Church's teachings and practices have strayed so far from what Jesus said was needed for salvation, there's no salvation in today's Christian Church, and I can show it simply from his words in the Lord's Prayer. And since some of what Jesus commanded is contrary to the Christian Church's teachings (doctrines) - we must choose between doing what Jesus commanded we should do and doing what the Christian Church tells us to do. How and why did this all happen? Who's responsible? And what shall I do about it? And how does this tie into the message found in the Book of the Revelation? That's all explained in this book.
