Shonda R. Bailey, a beauty industry professional, philanthropist, and creative arts enthusiast native to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. She is founder and CEO of Saving Women and Girl (SWAG), a grassroots organization dedicated to uplifting disenfranchised women and girls by doing her part with annual blessing bag donations to local shelters. Her love for all things beauty led her to long and fulfilling career within the beauty industry in salon ownership and educating the public about healthy hair practices. She meshed her love for and extensive knowledge of the beauty industry with her fondness of poetry, creative expression and journalism to create various salon newsletters, an online magazine geared to educate the public about healthy hair practices, guest appearances on local radio broadcasts and most recently the creation of Double Life The Luxe Salon Chronicles.
