Autorenporträt

Ottis King was born in Leeds and grew up in London in the last century. He has lived in Southampton, Minneapolis (USA), Paris (France), and worked in England, Germany, Belgium, USA, Angola and Egypt. He lives with his wife in Portugal.
He has been a research chemist, chief chemist, finance lecturer, English language teacher, dog walker, dog groomer, dog trainer (more accurately dog owner trainer), dog kennel owner, photographer (started with glass plates and progressed to film), management trainer of accountants and consultants (including development consultants), personal skills trainer, coach, professor of strategic management, painter, pencil portrait artist, school chemistry teacher, chemistry tutor, blogger, and is now a novelist.
Ottis King is a pen name. He has written one novel, and he is working on a second one, as well as a book of short stories. He has not yet received any literature prizes for writing, but he lives in hope.
