After a day of frolicking in the old camp's pond, the two girls built a campfire and fixed dinner. During dinner Ilana surprised Callie with the news, she was deeply involved in witchcraft and alchemy. Before Callie was able to process this information, Callie saw Ilana holding a brush and painting a henna-oil pattern across her pale skin concentrating on a tight circle around Callie's belly button. Ilana explained it was a benign spell to make her irresistible to other girls. The next morning after breakfast the two had their teary good bye's as Callie was headed to college and Ilana was going to travel before heading to college. Callie started home in a funk over never seeing Ilana again, at least not until winter break. But by the time she had arrived home she was quickly swept up into the normal domestic issues and family life, she had forgotten the love spell completely until the night before Callie was leaving for college, Callie and four friends tried to liven up a pretty dull party decided to play spin the bottle, then...the full power of the 'love spell' consumed Callie and all her unsuspecting guests..
