First of all, I am highly honored to pen this biographical sketch of my favorite preacher, visionary, businessman, mentor, and leadera genuine man of the cloth, my husband. We are often told that we are in control of our own destiny for our lives, and this often helps to empower us to make key decisions in the situations that we face on our journey throughout life. It may seem at times that we are constantly faced with oppositions, which challenge us to either make us or break us. Yet at some point, it seems that doors miraculously open, and we are faced with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. At that point, we begin to realize that there is a whole lot more to life than we may have previously considered, and we reflect on the providence of God to direct us to His ultimate destiny through His divine plan for our lives. The development of a leader by God is a progressive (unique refining) process that can, at times, leave you feeling as if you are all alone. However, you continue to develop a relationship with God and sense His divine intervention gently shifting circumstances and honing into your development of gifts, talents, and abilities. Remarkably, your life is transformed, and you realize that you are no longer alone. This is a journey of a son of the soil. He was born in poverty, raised through hardship and rejection, and yet was groomed for a divine destiny as a man of the cloth. Who would have guessed all that God had in store? This biography will provide for you a few details of the journey, the process and spiritual enrichment of Gods anointed mouthpiece, and the significant impact of his days on this terrestrial globe.

"The Man of the Cloth" is a recollection of our lives together as a family and in ministry. I, Ruth Ann, am the author and wife of the main character. This story encompasses our everyday activities as we live, love, laugh, and cry together and share precious moments. This material will take you from birth to seventy-five years with people whose lives have touched ours and impacted our ministry. There were lean times as well as times of plenty; however, we were a close, happy family as we moved from city to city and country to country then to the island of Bermuda. We are living in the island of Bermuda on top of a high hill, where we can look down on the parsonage, our former home, with dew covering the whole area. My doctor suggested that we move high up on a hill due to the environment of the island, which is very damp at times and can cause severe amounts of mildew. Nevertheless, we are surrounded by beautiful turquoise water and pink sand beaches. This is just what the doctor ordered and the response to Ruth Ann's request for a piece of the rock! This is a term used for property or purchasing land. Bishop Lambe and I have been married for fifty-six years; we have four children and seven grandchildren. Our youngest two girls live in Atlanta the youngest is in the process of moving to DC as her husband was promoted there, and our oldest son and daughter live here in Bermuda. The Man of the Cloth met all of his father's children when he returned in 1975, beautiful family members one was "Miss Bermuda" and another was the runner up. Ruth Ann is also from a large family so there are many brothers-in-law and sister-in laws, as I had seven sisters and three brothers.
