Having been raised in the woods of deep East Texas and before the technology boom, Harvey has written many articles of the memories of how he and other folks used to live off what could be raised off the land and what nature provided around them. I feel that he is qualified to write a historical account of that time and, through his experiences, recommend ways that we could again survive if or perhaps when we lose our modern way of life.
