The fifth book tracks the influence of the English translation of the Bible on the emergence of Parliamentary Democracy. Thus the book's sub-title - Patriarch, Prince, Prophet, Protester, Parliament. The book takes an original and historically accurate perspective on these well-known figures. It looks for alignment between the biblical record and extra-biblical sources. The book's methodology finds a via media between the extremes of "blind faith" and "disbelief". Out of these biographies are drawn life lessons, which are then blended and collated in an accessible way in the Epilogue. From the past, this book distils a lot of practical lessons of how to deal with the present and future. These are called "ancient pathways to a sustainable future".
